Awards // Recognition
The intent of this page is to pull together the variety of awards received over the years, both personal + professional, and highlight some moments of additional recognition over the course of my career. These milestones are listed below in order from most recent to furthest back (from what I could find in my archives).
Awards…
This section has all personal awards won, as well as team awards received (that I could find in my records). In addition there are a couple brand/company awards that were achieved for the brands I manage(d), based on some of the work I’ve done for them! Images have also been added for any awards I had photo proof of receiving/ I could find!
Paul Harris Fellowship Award | July 13, 2025
I was honored to receive this award from the NH Rotary Club(s) during my mother’s inaugural ceremony for becoming the District Governor for the 2025 year.
This is one of the highest honors one can receive through Rotary. It is given for exemplary service contributions. It acts as a way to recognize community leaders, while also supporting the vital funding work that Rotary strives for in their worldwide humanitarian + educational work. In the Rotary community it is recognized as a “prestigious award”.
My grandfather was a (multiple) Paul Harris Award recipient, followed by my mother (also multiple), and now me with my first! The legacy of what this award means to me + my family speaks for itself. It is a true honor to follow in their footsteps of “Service above self”, even if I am not an official Rotary member.
Most Recent / Personal:
Hometown Hero | December, 23, 2024
Concord, NH’s local Newspaper, The Concord Monitor, receives nominations from the community of individuals who make significant contributions to the community, to be named as Hometown Heroes.
This award is to recognize those “Individuals who make significant contributions to their community through hard work, volunteerism, and unselfishness. It highlights the often-unsung efforts of people making a tangible impact and provides public acknowledgement for their dedication to improving the lives of others and fostering a sense of community pride.”
I was nominated, by a customer and regular at Feathered Friend Brewing, for the work I do both at the brewery and the events I put on through my passion project Sad AF Collective. I did not know this individual did this until I was contacted by The Concord Monitor. This nomination came as a pleasant and humbling shock + honor.
The interview I had with journalist Charlotte Matherly was raw, real, + emotional, digging into some of what drives me as an individual to want to do more for my community, and why I believe Mental Health + Suicide Prevention advocacy, as well as creating safe spaces in our community for individuals to be their unique selves, is so immensely important.
Charlotte wrote an article about me + my efforts, and it was highlighted on the front page, above the fold, in The Concord Monitor, accompanied by images from one of my Sad AF Emo Night shows — which was an experience I never expected to have, but am so grateful for!

Small Business of the Year | Concord Chamber of Commerce Pinnacle Awards | June 4, 2025
One of my favorite awards to-date.
Community members can submit organizations for consideration of this award. Submissions need to include a detailed description as to why an individual believes the business they are submitting should be considered for Small Business of the Year, preferably providing examples that would constitute a strong impact in the community.
The nomination that we received outlined in great details a majority of the events that I have planned + coordinated over the years. The nomination was passionate, thankful, and putting the brewery on a pedestal because of these community focused + give-back initiatives that I created for our space.
Then, the Concord Chamber of Commerce board members take all nominations into consideration + deliberate on who the winner will be based on overall impact.
“This award recognizes small business (typically under 30 employees) for its professional excellence, active community involvement, and positive impact on the Capital Region. The award is important because it highlights successful businesses, fosters a sense of community, and provides public recognition that can enhance reputation and open doors to future growth.”
There is then a Pinnacle Awards ceremony to recognize + celebrate each of the category winners with the full Chamber of Commerce + other influential business professionals from the community. A great platform for visibility + networking.
Because our nomination was based primarily on so much of the work that I do specifically for the brewery, I was invited to go to the event with Tucker, the owner (+ my boss).
During his speech, Tucker publicly recognized me for being the driving force of so many of the reasons the brewery is the success it is today + a huge part of why we were nominated for this award, while also thanking me for the work I do!

Best Beer of 2025 | March Madness Bracket at Uno’s Tilton | April 2, 2025
This was a fun one to be a part of! Uno’s Pizzeria in Tilton, NH hosted a March Madness beer tap takeover event that ran multiple weeks throughout March and into April.
Each day 2 NH breweries went head to head, bringing only 1 beer to pour samples of, with the hopes of winning their round + progressing to the next round of the bracket. Every 21+ guest that day was given a poker chip to cast their vote with, and the brewery with the most votes at the end of the night progressed to the next head to head.
We were lucky enough to win all 4 of our rounds, beating out some of NH’s favorite breweries (Able Ebenezer Brewing Co, Hobbs Brewing Co, Henniker Brewing Co, + Moat Mountain Brewing Co)
The exciting part was two-fold. First, seeing how many of our loyal brewery regulars made the drive out of town to support us + be a part of the festivities… truly felt like a party with friends each day! Second, getting the poker chip reveal at the end of each head to head… there were a couple close-matches but to see us not only come in the lead each time but the couple rounds we blew the competition out of the water was an amazing feat!! Especially going up against such highly respected breweries!
Best Place To Make New Friends | Hippo Press Best Of Awards | March 28, 2024
Second year of being a part of the Hippo Press Best Of Awards + we won not one but 2 awards!
The first being the most important, as it was the same award we won the year prior: Best Place To Make New Friends!
We wanted to strive to continue to win this one, and we did just that!
Best Happy Hour | Hippo Press Best Of Awards | March 28, 2024
Second year of being a part of the Hippo Press Best Of Awards + we won not one but 2 awards!
The second being a bonus award: Best Happy Hour!
We had played around with a few different HH specials, so not positive which one got us the award or if it was the fact that we changed it up here and there… but regardless, another exciting win!
Best Place To Make New Friends | Hippo Press Best Of Awards | March 30, 2023
First year of being in my Event Coordinating + Social Media Manager role for the brewery was from sept. 2022 - 2023, just 5 months after the brewery opened. This was the time frame where I set up + implemented nightly events to encourage people to come out to the brewery, and create what truly became the overall feel + vibe of the brewery for our community.
In just 5 months, before Hippo voting occurred, this environment was created, marketed to the community, and accepted by individuals looking for a place to feel good at! Only 5 months to make such a huge impact on customers where they felt so good being at the brewery that they remembered that feeling after leaving, enough so to vote for us for this award!
So to be recognized as THE top place in all of New Hampshire, that cultivates a community vibe and is a space of comfort + care, where people feel comfortable bringing their authentic selves and conversing with other individuals safely was absolutely amazing.
Plus, the fact that the award name had “Friend” in it and the brewery is called Feathered Friend, was serendipitous!… one we knew we had to continue to strive for winning year after year.

The Silver Award is the second highest award you can earn in Girl Scouts.
This award is earned by Cadette level Girl Scouts (grades 6th-8th) by completing a project that addresses a root cause of a community issue and creating lasting, sustainable change. It is important because it “teaches girls to be organized, determined leaders who identify problems, develop solutions, lead teams of volunteers, and significantly improve their communities.
